Peter Waldrab was named to his current position in 2022. He has more than 15 years of experience in the utility industry in leadership roles across electric transmission and distribution operations. Waldrab currently oversees all electric distribution operations for LG&E and KU.

Prior to joining LG&E and KU, he worked for PPL in leadership roles supporting development and implementation of PPL EU's distribution smart grid system, an historic reinvestment in PPL EU's transmission system, and in the digital transformation of field work.

Waldrab serves on the Southeast Electric Exchange board of directors, the Edison Electric Institute National Response Executive Committee, the Electric Power Research Institute’s Distribution Sector Advisory Council and the Greater Louisville American Red Cross board.

Waldrab is a graduate of Penn State University and Drexel University, is a licensed engineer in the state of Pennsylvania and is a husband and father of three.
