Starting this year, WellFairs for LG&E employees, which previously had been held during the spring, now will be held in the fall. WellFairs for KU, ODP, and employees will not change and will continue to be held during the fall. The change for Louisville-area WellFairs is being made in response to employee feedback so that the WellFairs will coincide with annual flu vaccinations, allowing them to be "one-stop" health events for employees, retirees, and their spouses.

These popular health fairs feature free on-site screening tests and written Health Risk Appraisals and can include the following screening tests:

• Personal Wellness Profile Comprehensive Assessment Questionnaire
• Height
• Weight, Body Frame Size
• Blood Pressure
• Body Fat Screening
• Blood Testing (slight variations in specific tests may vary at some sites depending upon vendor capability)

Locations and registration information will be sent to all employees and retirees after the 2005 WellFair dates are confirmed.
