Each year, LG&E and KU employees volunteer countless hours to help those who are less fortunate in the communities we serve. Not only do our employees give of their time and talent, but they dig deep to give from their pockets, too.

More than 25 non-profit organizations across the state benefited from last year's employee giving campaign. Thanks to LG&E and KU employees, those organizations are adding financial security and assisting more Kentucky families.

In total, we pledged more than $1.6 million this year — the fifth year in a row that our employees have raised more than $1 million in support of their communities.

We know you rely on us, just as you rely on the critical support of the agencies and programs that benefit from our charitable efforts.

We're proud to say that giving back is second nature to our employees, and the WHAS Crusade for Children, Fund for the Arts and United Way agencies throughout the Commonwealth appreciate our efforts.
